iStore - Air to Energy

Had one since end of 2018 and it has been great. Changed from a gas system and has been much cheaper,powered mostly off solar panels. Had a failure of the control board this week and istore came out and replaced it free of charge within 5 hours.

First install of an istore heat pump system, really pleased with the unit, looks great and is working a treat.

I had the 180L installed by Hilton Plumbing. I had a few questions on the set up and thought I'd contact iStore directly. I sent an email and within 5 minutes Bill had called me back and ran through all the ideal settings to integrate with our solar system and hot water needs. Fantastic service and many thanks to Bill for his time.

Thanks to Shane at Perth Plumbing Force for a swift next day install of our new 270L Istore heat pump hot water system. Our heat pump is excellent and worked well with the solar PV system we also got installed on out roof. Previously we’ve had trouble with water running continuously that was due and when our electric water heater died on us six months ago, we decided to replace it with the massive 270L heat pump. It has been brilliant. It was a good investment (just under $3,000) but we never run out of hot water and our bills reduced greatly. Obviously, we're hoping it will pay for itself in the next few years. Highly recommend.

Roy from Istore has been great to deal with, they provided a free temporary hot water system for the weekend and installed the system early the next week. Always easy to get in touch with and looking forward to the savings on the new hot water system.

We changed our gas hot water system to an iStore at the same time we put solar on the roof and haven't looked back. The iStore is set up so it heats up during the day to run off the solar power reducing our costs dramatically, and there's plenty of hot water to last my family of 3. Wouldn't hesitate recommending an iStore to family and friends.

Love the heat pump, had an issue with our unit and the costumer support service was top notch to get it sorted. Highly recommended just for the after sales peace of mind itself.

Just awesome! We got a iStore 280L the same time as a solar install to act like a battery, storing energy as hot water using solar electricity during the day. It absolutely crushed our gas bill by >90% and gas use by >95% and in the 1.5 years since has saved us easily $1,300. We have 3 teenage boys. I changed the timer such that it does not come on between 5.30pm and 10am, so it usually most days comes on just once at 10am. Some days in summer we might skip a day. I changed the default as I was finding it was coming on to ‘top up’ at night a lot as the boys showered. Having it this way we’ve still never run out of hot water. Bill at iStore (their support is great) also helped me change the default 45 min disinfect (heats to 60 degrees) cycle from just after midnight Wednesdays to noon because the iStore was using grid electric at night. The installation was done well and it was a simple swap in to replace the gas system. The only regret is not moving the unit a bit further along the wall away fomr the kitchen window as does make a fan noise, but now that it only comes on at 10am we only hear it on the weekend. It's green, works like a solar battery and saves you money!
